Actually revised my earlier review based on a longer timeline for services rendered. Unfortunately mostly all of us dislike the smaller than necessary waiting area at 6:30-6:45 after 7 things runs smoothly and like clockwork. The awesome front desk techs that check me in quickly learned who I was and remember my name every morning no matter what computer I approach, really considerate because I'm all about discretion. Don't have to ever announce my name. Truly awesome service above and beyond what is required. I can tell most of the staff believe in the great service being provided for the entire community and general public that no longer have to put up with my and others unlawful nuisances. Totally motivated me to stick to my treatment goals and objectives because I feel they are willing to meet me half way if I show I have the enthusiasm and motivation to succeed. They want that too and I love the feeling of inclusion. I'm part of my treatment plan like it should be every time but unfortunately too many therapist get "over worked" and always will try a one size fits most because it's just easier for THEM. Not true at P.R. For the first time in my life I actually met a CSW who was as enthusiastic about my successful journey I'm only just beginning as I was. Like stated above...only motivated me to succeed because I knew I had someone who has by back and best interests as a priority for the time I'm with Her, Special Thank you to my lil buddy LAUREL. I was pretty abrupt and kinda rude first couple of interactions between the two of us and she was totally professional and empathetic as to why I was so crappy and made it absolutely impossible to continue with the attitude... I mean you cannot dislike this woman if you tried because I tried and it didn't last very long. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a D*ck most days. Awesome people everywhere in that building, except for some of my counterparts and treatment goer's. We all feel terrible at the same time and we all just woke up pretty much so I get it. Anyone who wants to drop the chore of maintaining opiates and the full-time job it always becomes but cannot get funding do exactly what I did and walk into talk to the 4th Street Clinic staff directly in person and they will hook you up. Quitting always hurts but its way more managble with the resources available. Just be smart and do a little research and planning to transition smoothly. Saved me. Thank you project reality. I can walk in wearing a deep, large frown, storm clouds hanging over my shoulders and looking for any excuse to be mean, but by the time I'm walking out of the building I'm smiling ear to ear. All it takes is some eye contact from the ladies and an inquiry about my day to get me going, less then a 5 minute interaction and my day is already much better. That's good staff working exactly how a non profit should work. Well.... I just had to get back up here on the review I published a couple of months ago because the four stars it was given can actually be a very Rare five 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 star review making it one of my only reviews to receive this distinction out of 50+ detailed reviews. My reasons for making the change really isn't something not only I benefit from but for all of the clients and the FREE services many qualify for. Without help from the county through grants and programs and the people who care about the PERSON and not what INSURANCE you have covering their profits.

It's not the best methadone clinic out there. But I do truely believe that these clinics are a God send. I thank God for these clinics. So much good can come out of them if you're ready to make a change. It allows a person to put their feet on the ground. The breathing room they truely need to make that change.

Pretty cool knowing your treatment can be ultimately free, funded by the state being that project reality is a non profit. Saving up to 90.00+$ a week is a huge perk. Wished I would have started out with these guys.

Sure is alot of negativity spewing from people who should remember where they were before obtaining HELP from PROJECT REALITY. Personally I'm very thankful for the service as it is one of the factors in helping me to regain my life. It's kind of amazing how an individual whose suffered from the throes of addiction could or would even have anything negative to say about someone providing a service that needless to say is saving their lives. A very very wise man once said let only words come out of your mouth that edify others, that build them up, or just don't say anything at all. We all had enough negativity, lies, pain, struggles, stress, worry and it goes on and on and on in our addictions. So why and working in your sobriety and finding your true self again and hopefully making a meaningful life and knowing that you had a partner, someone that had your back in a battle, where anyone would stab you in the back, even ourselves. But Project Reality stands behind us and has our back and pushes us forward, and there's a lot more than using that guys. So I hope you guys can dig in deep and find some good things to say and get 5 stars on there because all the little necessities that we think we deserve or are entitled to, are not our say so because it could be worse, there could be no Project Reality or no other clinics like that. Project Reality, it's staff gives of their time and most of them do so with smiles on their faces, to help individuals that suffer from a very Evil Disease, that is taking the lives of many people that we all know , who I am sure would be very eternally grateful for the opportunity to participate in the medically treated by Project Reality disease most people die from. They provide a treatment that is scientifically and statistically shown to be the most effective treatment in helping opiate addict be successful in remaining sober. I save you a little bit more grateful for Project Reality .and the fact that they give the time to do what they do. I think if we ALL just stop for one second, and appreciate where weve been and where were going now, and who is there HELPING US, and be Grateful for those who HELP US, when NOBODY else could or would. We should all be writing GOOD THINGS about them and Enduring the very small and mediocre complaints that we encounter during this TIME of Healing. I'm very thankful for the staff that's there. I think they're very courteous, professional and have more knowledge than any of us do about what it takes to run a medical facility that bottom line gives a damn about each and everyone of us, and that's proven bye their presences there every single day. They got to get up and be there early too so that they can assist us as we each take the steps that we all wanted to, in order to get our lives back, and we're unable to because we tried everything else and failed, and failed, and failed. So Project Reality and your staff, thank you and know that you are appreciated and much respected. I know that I am on a good path and going to get my life back and there will be much gratitude, patience, understanding, and love for the individuals and the time they give working where they do to help myself and many others that show up there every single day.
