I love to read the comments that people leave. Some people are grateful for the services Sherwood provided to them or their loved ones and other people leave comments of distrust and anger. I believe these are the people who are still stuck in their addictive and destructive ways. The people who did not want to follow the program guidelines, which have saved the lives of so many. As the Program Director of Sherwood, I know that I have given some brutally honest and helpful "food for thought" to clients. Most of these conversations temporarily end with the client being angry and not understanding why they can't do something, or have something the way they are used to. The client who is working our program and becoming healthy will ALWAYS return with a more clear thought process. They will take accountability for their outburst and even come to understand why us staff model healthy behaviors and boundaries. They will even thank us for showing them a more constructive way of living and they will become our life long friend. They finally understand that insanity is doing the same thing as before and expecting a change. They come to welcome the building of awareness and challenges that Sherwood staff provide. I am a grateful member of the Sherwood Team, and I am proud to be a member of this family. My hope is that Sherwood will forever change the lives of WILLING people.

Sherwood Hills is an amazing place to go for help. The staff treats the clients very respectfully and it makes for a very friendly environment. A family member of mine went there, and came back a better person. I would highly recommend Sherwood Hills

The treatment team is really in touch with the needs of the clients. The place is beautiful and peaceful. You don't want to go home until you have to. It's like staying at a resort. Oh, that's right, it was a resort. Current management has made so many positive changes to the program. When the underlying causes of addiction are dealt with, the drinking and the drugging seem to fade away. The emphasis on recreation and experiential therapies plus all the innovative treatments now available make Sherwood Recovery a contender for the top spot in Utah rehabs.

I am recent graduate of Sherwood hills. This place was amazing. Its beautiful and the staff was really invested in my recovery and after care. The program is based on mindfulness and that to me is longer lasting than any 12 step program I've been involved with. The therapist and case managers really do care and want you to succeed. If you are struggling I would give this place a call.
